The ZSVR issues a warning about scam e-mails: Scam e-mails claiming to be from the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR) are currently being sent to registered companies. The scam e-mails contain text taken from the ZSVR’s own communications asking users to fulfil their legal obligation to undertake system participation. Attempts are made to obtain confidential data such as passwords and master data. Neither this e-mail nor any of the links it may contain originate from the ZSVR. The links lead to unsafe websites. Please ignore these messages. 
You can recognise e-mails from the ZSVR by the sender address, which always ends with ‘@verpackungsregister.org’ or ‘@email.verpackungsregister.org’. It also helps if you label e-mails with an incorrect sender address as spam in your systems.

ZSVR launches English website

The website of the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Central Agency Packaging Register – ZSVR) has been fully available in English since 19 June 2020. It can be accessed at: www.verpackungsregister.org/en/.

Under 'Information & Orientation', 'LUCID Packaging Register' and 'Foundation & Authority', visitors will find most of the information about obligations relating to the Verpackungsgesetz (Packaging Act) in English. Subpages that have to do with administrative procedure law – such as the issuance of classification decisions, related applications, case report publications and the system participation requirement catalogue – are available exclusively in German for legal reasons. Most introductory texts and documents that are meant to help with meeting requirements that touch on administrative procedure law are available in English; they include an additional notice concerning their legal effect.
