Shipment packaging for hand tool parts and accessories of all kinds typically accumulates as waste with private final consumers – i.e. private households and comparable sources of waste generation and, as such, is subject to system participation.

Use of the system participation requirement catalogue requires that the item in question be packaging within the meaning of section 3 (1) VerpackG in conjunction with appendix 1 VerpackG.
