The 43-year old will fill a new position in the executive department, assuming responsibility for legal and administrative affairs. Before joining the ZSVR, he headed Legal Affairs & Consumer Policy, Environment, Finance and HR at Markenverband e. V. (German Trade Mark Association) in Berlin for more than ten years, most recently as Managing Director. Representing Markenverband, he has worked with the ZSVR since the Foundation's beginnings as a project company in 2015.
Prior to this, he handled the various amendments to the Verpackungsverordnung (Packaging Ordinance) as well as the legislative process regarding the Verpackungsgesetz (Packaging Act) for Markenverband.
