Food producer fined for not filing declarations of completeness – ZSVR publishes new case report

|

A Dutch food producer that places considerable packaging volumes on the German market every year together with its goods repeatedly failed to file a declaration of completeness. The company has been fined several thousand euros for this breach of duty, as documented in a case report just published by the ZSVR.

Even though the company's packaging volumes exceeded the statutory thresholds, it failed to file a declaration of completeness in three consecutive years. The ZSVR reported the suspected case to the responsible enforcement authority, which opened proceedings against the company.
